About me
Hi my name is Marania. I'm a passionate advocate for sovereignty, authentic self-expression, and creating spaces where people can feel truly seen and celebrated. My journey has been deeply rooted in exploring the principles of embodiment, somatic practices, and energywork, bodywork, classical Shakta Tantra and sacred sexuality. These modalities have shaped my understanding of what it means to reconnect with our truest selves—our Wild Essence.
Over the years, I've moved away from the concept of "healing" as fixing something broken. Instead, I view every individual as inherently whole. My work focuses on empowering people to rediscover their unique essence, meet themselves with compassion, honouring and cultivate a deeper relationship with their bodies, spirits, and souls.
I believe in meeting people where they are, honouring their personal experiences, and providing tools for self-discovery without judgment or prescriptive ideas of what embodiment should look like.
I'm not here to tell anyone who they should be. My role is to create brave, welcoming spaces where people feel free to explore, grow, and express themselves authentically.
What is Wild Essence
Wild Essence is a transformative practice designed to empower individuals to reconnect with their sovereign, authentic selves. Rooted in principles of classical Shakta Tantra, sacred sexuality, embodiment, somatic practices, energy work, and bodywork, my approach meets people exactly where they are.
I believe humans are inherently whole and wise; it is the systems around us that need fixing. My work is about creating spaces where people can feel safe to explore and deepen their relationship with their bodies, souls, and spirits—free from judgment or expectations.
Wild Essence champions sovereignty, shame resilience, body and sex positivity, and freedom for all beings. As a queer-owned, SW-friendly practice, I celebrate individual expression and diversity in how people experience and relate to their bodies.
Instead of prescribing what embodiment or healing "should" look like, I offer tools and guidance to help individuals discover what works best for them. My intention is to create an inclusive, empowering paradigm where everyone can explore their Wild Essence and express themselves authentically.
Anahata Healing Australia acknowledges the Wurundjeri people of the Kulin nation as the Traditional Owners of this unceded land on which I live and share my work. I pay my respects and give thanks to their Elders, past, present and emerging and the Aboriginal Elders of other communities for taking care of the land, waterways, animals for thousands of years before us.
I pay my respect and give thanks to all the teachers and benevolent ancestors who passed down the ancient wisdom and traditions such as Yoga, Aloha, Reiki, Shamanic healing, Dance.
